# WhatsApp ads

> See click-to-WhatsApp ads and send conversion events from GreenTick.

**WhatsApp Ads (CTWA)** is for click-to-WhatsApp campaigns. When someone taps an ad and messages your number, the conversation opens in **Live Chat** with the ad referral attached.

This page is included on Standard and Premium. Meta Conversions API reporting for those chats is on the same plans.

## What to do with an ad chat

* Reply in **Live Chat** during the customer service window, or send an approved template later.
* Use an automation condition for a click-to-WhatsApp referral when those chats should follow a different path.
* Send conversion events from **WhatsApp Ads (CTWA)** when you want Meta to record a result from the conversation.

> Ad creation still happens in Meta Ads Manager. GreenTick receives the chats and can report conversions. It does not replace Ads Manager.
