# Connect WhatsApp

> Link a WhatsApp Business account to GreenTick and manage its phone numbers.

GreenTick sends and receives through the WhatsApp Business account you connect. Contacts, templates, broadcasts, live chat, and API keys all belong to that account.

## Connect a new account

**1. Open WhatsApp Connections**

In the dashboard, open **WhatsApp Connections**.

**2. Start Embedded Signup**

Click **Connect WhatsApp Business**. GreenTick opens Meta's Facebook login. Choose the WhatsApp Business account that owns the number you want to use.

**3. Wait for the sync**

GreenTick loads the account and phone numbers from Meta. The number you select during signup is linked first. Add more numbers from that same account on this page afterward.

Catalogs are not part of this step. After the account is connected, set them up on **Catalogs**.

## Reconnect a disconnected number

If a number you already used is disconnected, click **Connect WhatsApp Business** again and select the same WhatsApp Business account. GreenTick restores that existing account, including automations, contacts, and other saved data, instead of creating a new one.

## After it is connected

From **WhatsApp Connections** you can:

* Sync the account with Meta when business details or numbers change
* Reconnect a number that lost its Meta session
* See each phone number on the account

The phone number you select in the dashboard is the line used by **Contacts**, **Templates**, **Broadcasts**, **Live Chat**, and **Developer**.

>
> Disconnecting or removing the WhatsApp Business account stops sends from that number. If a plan is cancelled, GreenTick may hold the account for a limited number of days before deletion. Read the notice on the connection before you confirm.
