# Plan

> Read the current plan, usage, billing details, and invoices. These tools do not change the plan.

## Plan

Plan tools only read the account. They do not buy, change, pause, cancel, or pay. Those stay on **Manage Plan** in the dashboard.

| Tool | What it does |

| `get_plan` | Reads the current plan name, status, renewal date, and what is included: messages, AI tokens, automations, Flows, bots, seats, and phone numbers, with how many are used. `price` is the formatted amount, such as ₹41,999 / year. `usageHistory` includes the current period and earlier closed periods. `resourceUsage.seats.used` counts invited teammates. The account owner does not take a seat, so [Team](https://docs.greentick.ai/mcp/team.md) can list one more person. |
| `get_usage` | Reads message and AI token usage for this billing period. Automations, Flows, bots, and seats are on `get_plan`. |
| `get_billing_info` | Reads the billing name, email, address, and tax id. It does not update them. |
| `list_invoices` | Lists invoices. Each one has `id`, `number`, `status`, `amountPaid`, `subtotal`, `discount`, `total`, `currency`, and `receiptUrl` when Stripe has a charge receipt. Amounts are in paise or cents. A paid invoice with `total` 0 was covered by a coupon: `subtotal` is the price before that coupon, and Stripe has no receipt because it collected no payment. |

`get_limits` is separate. It is the character limit for a template, workflow, Flow, bot, catalog, or message, not the plan you are on.

An expired plan returns `PLAN_EXPIRED` on a write. The assistant does not retry that until you renew on **Manage Plan**. See [Check plan usage](https://docs.greentick.ai/mcp/use-cases/check-plan-usage.md).
