# Generate a WhatsApp template header with MCP

> Ask an assistant to generate a WhatsApp template and a landscape header image from your brand website. The image is not uploaded from another tool.

`generate_template` builds a template and a landscape header image on the GreenTick server. It does not submit the template to Meta, and it does not send it. The assistant creates a new header image only with this tool. It does not use another image service, and it does not upload an image that was made somewhere else.

## Ask this

```text theme={null}
Generate a MARKETING template for a weekend offer. My website is https://example.com. Use the logo from that site on the header. Show me the body and the image. Do not submit it to Meta.
```

## What the assistant calls

**1. Ask for the website**

The assistant asks for the brand website before it generates, even when you did not mention a site. It does not invent a URL. It passes your URL as `brandSite`. GreenTick fetches the logo file from that site and places that file on the header. It does not draw a lookalike.

**2. Generate**

`generate_template` returns the template and the header. The assistant shows you that result. `create_template` stays unused until you ask to submit.

`upload_media` is for a file you already have, not for this generated header. See [Media](https://docs.greentick.ai/mcp/media.md) and [Templates](https://docs.greentick.ai/mcp/templates.md). Submitting the result is [Submit a template](https://docs.greentick.ai/mcp/use-cases/submit-template.md).
