# Fill business details

> Enter your legal business information in Meta Business Suite before you apply for verification.

Meta checks the details in your business portfolio during [business verification](https://docs.greentick.ai/meta-setup/verify-your-business.md). Fill them in first.

> Your legal business name, address, and website must match your official documents exactly. Mismatched details are the most common reason verification is delayed or rejected.

## Add your business details

**1. Log in to Meta Business Suite**

Go to [business.facebook.com](https://business.facebook.com/) and log in with the account that owns the business portfolio.

**2. Open Business info**

Click **Settings** in the left sidebar, then open **Business info**.

**3. Edit the details**

Click **Edit** and fill in every field: legal business name, country, street address, town or city, region, postcode, and business phone number.

**4. Match your official documents**

Type the legal name exactly as it appears on your registration or tax documents, such as a GST certificate or incorporation certificate. Small differences in spacing or punctuation can fail verification.

**5. Save**

Click **Save**. Meta uses these details during verification.
