# Quickstart

> Create a GreenTick account, connect WhatsApp, and reach the first message.

This path takes you from a new account to a WhatsApp number you can message from.

## Prerequisites

* A Facebook account that can access the WhatsApp Business account you want to connect
* The business phone number you will use on WhatsApp
* A browser where you can complete Meta's Embedded Signup

## Create the account

**1. Sign up**

Open [dashboard.greentick.ai](https://dashboard.greentick.ai) and create an account. You can also start from [greentick.ai](https://greentick.ai).

**2. Finish onboarding**

Enter the company details GreenTick asks for, including the business name, location, and how you plan to use WhatsApp. This creates your workspace before a number is connected.

**3. Connect WhatsApp**

Open **WhatsApp Connections** and click **Connect WhatsApp Business**. Log in with Facebook and choose the WhatsApp Business account. The number you select is linked first. You can add more numbers from that same account afterward.

**4. Add a contact**

Open **Contacts** and add a customer, or use **Import** to upload a spreadsheet. Store the phone number with its country code, for example `919876543210`.

**5. Send or reply**

If that contact has messaged you in the last 24 hours, open **Live Chat** and reply in the thread.

To message someone who has not written recently, create a template, wait until Meta marks it **Approved**, then send it from **Broadcasts** or from the chat.

> You are set up when **WhatsApp Connections** shows the business account and **Live Chat** can open a conversation for that number.
