Inbox tools read and update Live Chat for the connected number. Session sends work only inside the 24-hour customer service window. The assistant sends catalog and product messages only after you ask.

Read and assign

Tool	What it does
`list_conversations`	Lists threads. Pass `phoneNumberRef` when the account has more than one number.
`list_conversation_messages`	Lists messages in one conversation `id`.
`assign_conversation`	Assigns the thread.
`suggest_reply`	Returns a suggested reply. It does not send the reply.
`mark_conversation_read`	Marks the thread read. For one inbound message, use `mark_message_read` on Messages.

Send inside the window

Tool	Required fields	Notes
`send_conversation_media`	Conversation `id`, `mediaType` of `image`, `video`, or `document`	Pass `mediaUrl` from Media or a complete `mediaBase64`. Optional `caption`. The assistant does not generate the file.
`send_catalog_message`	`id`, `body`	Sends the connected catalog. Optional `footer` and `thumbnailProductRetailerId`.
`send_product_message`	`id`, `productRetailerId`	Sends one product. Optional `catalogId`, `body`, and `footer`.
`send_product_list`	`id`, `body`	Multi-product list. Optional `headerText`, `footer`, `catalogId`, and up to 10 `sections`.
`send_product_carousel`	`id`, `body`, `cards`	`cards` is 1 to 10 items.
